Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDs - UNICEF campaign is still going strong - click here to support and buy a wrist band or a t-shirt.

21st April 2008 - Book release and News: My Word is My Bond - Roger Moore's Memoirs - if you didn't know already - is due for release in november of this year - pre order at Amazon for a minor discount here.

Man, I am late updating this - ok, just before I flew to the States and took photographs of San Francisco (AVTAK, Bullitt, Vertigo to name a few) Roger Moore was 'awarded' (I shall explain the '' one day, please email to ask), a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame in L.A. A quick BBC report is located here and I shall do a better summary shortly.

UNICEF Campaign update : - Schools for Africa. Launched by Sir Roger, in Austria during September 2008, the aim is raise enough money to support and found schools for up to 4 million students throughout some of the poorest countries in sub-Saharan Africa. As Sir Roger points out, 45 million children are without education, and statistics show that every 2nd child misses out on learning for a variety of reasons. Support, help out, it all matters.

19th April 2008 - TV Spot News: The Spy Who Loved Me is on ITV 4 at 1pm, or 10.20pm for those who missed it. If it is anything like Live and Let Die - I bet they trim some useless piece out. It does appear however that TMWTGG was skipped - should the films be appearing in order of course. I shall keep you updated.

16th April 2008 - Site News: The old interviews are getting back online atlast. Interviews 3 and 4 are now online and ready for browsing. Elsewhere, The Saint continues to be re-run on ITV4 on a Wednesday with a repeat on a Thursday morning, and mid-afternoon slot.

12th April 2008 - TV Spot News: Live and Let Die is on at 22.30 hrs on ITV4 for those in the UK. I have unfortunately missed updating showings of Last Time I Saw Paris (TCM - might be on again!), Cannonball Run - damn ITV, and a rather odd cartoon spot in Family Guy which I caught the tail end of. Shame they couldn't get a decent voice over, or indeed interior decor ;o)

I shall endeavour to keep you updated as and when I am aware of things :)

Site News: Due to recent problems (including external server issues, email hosts and hackers) I have discovered that the email unfortunately has been unable to be fixed - If you wish to contact me by email please click here

20th Mar 2008 - News: If you haven't yet got hold of your special James Bond cover on the Feb/Mar issue of Total Film - I advise you to get to your newsagent quick smart and hunt out your favourite.

With 'Quantam of Solace' released on Nov. 7th and the centennary of Ian Fleming's birth being celebrated this year, Total Film have printed 21 special copies for fans to pick their favourite film DVD cover. The magazine also features some details from a recent Pinewood set visit and quick Q&A with previous Bond's and some of the typical, always debatable, 'best and worst' lists of the series.

Site News: 2007 details moved to Archives section.

13th Mar 2008 - UNICEF Campaign News: Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDs - UNICEF campaign is still going strong - click here to support and buy a wrist band or a t-shirt.

UNICEF has recently put together a film entitled The Gift, Sir Roger Moore is one of the many involved. The purpose of this film is to highlight the plight of children born with HIV when it costs no more than £1 to help prevent it.

AIDs and the HIV virus affects millions; from new borns who have no choice to men and women in developed countries. The scale of this problem is not going away and increases every day, it's time to stop ignoring and hoping it will disappear or blaming only gay sex for its spread (so 19080s! and fundamentally flawed argument) - over the next 10 years, thousands will die from the desease and many thousands more will be affected directly or indirectly as a consequence*. Lets treat AIDs and HIV like we have treated famine, hunger and the environment and get it on our social agenda.
