Roger Moore has engulfed us with his presence over the past few days what with playing 'God, Almighty God' in the nativity play on 'Snow Graham Norton', but we got a Double Dose this festive day. Octopussy was, for once, shown on TV and straight after the Queens Speech too - what an honor, Golfinger had to settle for Boxing Day.
Then as I was watching the start of 'Victoria Wood with All the Trimmings' on BBC1 - the starter sketch - had Vic Wood as a female version of a Harry Palmer-esque spy-for-hire,
Mr Moore (appearing on the London Eye for this sketch) uses a copy of the Beano to identify his target, one Pierce Brosnan.
Then they get down the 'business' as the jokes about £2 OAP cinema ticekts come into play and something about rather awkward trousers was mentioned - it was such a surprise!! Im hoping for the repeat to be on soon!!
