The noughties - as they have become known - have certainly brought forth a bizarre change in events. Some things ever change - war in the gulf, bad politics and the normal assurances everything would be ok, even when we know it wont. The Euro took force, however has yet to make an impression while the EC expanded with the introduction of nearly 24 new countries. British house prices escalated while graduate valuation decreased with the upsurge in university applicants. This decade is a wierd one as it develops. Growing up as a twenty-something fully employed female unable to rent somewhere of her own says it all I think. I ensure I go out, socialise and make as much from this decade as I can - but trust me - you aren't missing much. The music is certainly on constant change, and we have some wonderful bands emerging I just hope they can sustain themselves beyond one album! Internet spam reaches new highs with roughly 1 in 10 emails containing advertising or a virus - can companies cope? I would say yes, however when you recieve 400 emails in a day with 'spam alert' rather than them being deleted it says a lot about how companies regard other peoples desires, needs and assumptions. Afterall because it's a mass mailer doesn't mean its spam! Companies pay fortunes to save themselves from global terrorism, as it appears to gain clout and a more global escalation - but is this the media reporting on events more redily and making such information which - in the 70's was as available - more immediate to our fingertips?? Its a concern as of course one cant be too prepared, but one can be too afraid and paranoid - which does no one any good. Roger continues to work extensively with UNICEF at this time, promoting many appeals and congesting any interview with himself about the work he does. Perhaps someone should actually interview him about his work with UNICEF rather than James Bond or the Saint? If you have question ideas, let me know!! Roger is rumoured to be in a number of projects however until I recieve official word - i am taking nothing for granted - notably his apparent appearance in a 'frankenstein' remake.
