The following are
the Roger Moore specific websites on the web. I aim to put a brief review
on this page and I shall be honest about my views on the sites. This I
know wont make everyone happy, however I'm not here to win poplarity contests
I'm here to get the best of the best to you the readers and fans!!
1.
James Bond Official Website
Link: http://www.jamesbond.com
Review: MGM/UA arebehind
this official site which keeps us all upto date about rumours, news, gossip,
stories, pictures and more in the universe of James Bond. A very nice
looking site, it is full of information and links to where you can otherwise
find information.
2.
The Golden Gun
Link: http://www.thegoldengun.co.uk
Review: Fastrac - the
person behind this site - hasn't updated in a whle but I know for a fact
it is not through lazyness. A nice site which grew from little many moons
ago - and also my 'sister' site in effect. They supply a number of the
DVD reviews to the James Bond DVD section to be found here.
3.
Kimberly Last's James Bond Site
Link: http://www.klast.net/bond/
Review: A very well
updated Bond site with links principally to all news articles relating
to the actors, films etc... Worth a browse. Neat, no fuss, tidy and easy
to navigate.
4.
I, Spy Guy
Link: http://www.geocities.com/fondofbond/
Review: When going
through my old links page I found a number of sites had disapeared, this
was one of those which still exists. This site is mostly fanfic and fun.
5.
Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - The Ian Fleming Organisation
Link: http://www.ianfleming.org/index.shtml
Review: 'The Premier
Bond Site', a justly deserved title? Admittedly it has bestowed the honour
upon itself but due to the level of interaction, information and simple
fact this site just 'belongs' within the world of Bond online you must
pay it a visit. Also the home to the Ian Fleming Organisation and one
of the most upto date Bond sites on here.
6.
The Art of James Bond
Link: http://www.artofjamesbond.com/
Review: I was glad
to find this still site around. An excellent compendium of art from the
films, books, posters and cartoons from the world of Bond. nicely written
and designed this site is comfotable and interesting reading for anyone
wanting to get more from the world of Bond.
7.
World of 007
Link: http://freespace.virgin.net/glenn.duers/index.htm
Review: I remember
seeing this fan site emerge online, and what made it unique was the video
clips. Unfortunately this site hasn't been updated in 4 years! Glenn -
dude, whats going on! However still a nice little site with some good
pics and stuff.
8.
Secret Intel
Link: http://www.secretintel.com/
Review: Made by Lee
Pfeiffer (of Bond book authorship) and friends this is the online home
of the Secret Intelligence magazine. Last updated in 2000 - Lee also deals
with Spy Guise.
9.
Spy Guise
Link: http://www.spyguise.com/
Review: This has had
a fce lift since I last went. spy Guise is effctively an online catalogue
for spy based memorabillia. Covering Bond, 60s > spy, sci-fi, horror
and fantasy it is regularly updated with new items. Ex Bond actors items
include rarities like Playboy starring Maud Adams or a Japanese Sean Connery
tribute book:
